Multi-Instrumental Performance and Production
Originally hailing from Colorado Springs, Christian Turner, aka CO CYPH, cut his teeth performing at clubs and venues throughout the Front Range. An award-winning instrumentalist with hundreds of live performances under his belt, Christian has made inroads in Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae and beyond, and has appeared with a wide range of acts from around the country including Ii Kanji, Codae Music, Soul Kitchen, Fidel Redstar and the Colorado Renaissance Festival.
Currently residing in Kihei, HI, CO CYPH’s sound combines analog and digital production techniques with soulful baritone vocals, crunchy guitars, and fiery lyricism to explore elements of Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, Reggae, and NeoSoul. Known throughout the musical community for his extensive musical vocabulary and intense work ethic, CO CYPH has opened for an eclectic variety of acts including Zion I, Minus the Bear, The Reminders, Ekolu, Cheech & Chong, Bryan Adams, and more.
